"I want to thank you so much for the outstanding job you did at [our house]. I was very impressed with the skill and coordination of the workers.  I'm so happy to have the dangerous limb removed from the white birch to "save" my gazebo. We would like to extend our thanks for the great job Mike and Andy did.  They were so agreeable to everything we asked. "

~Lorna B. from Barre

"We just had Vermont Arborists trim, thin and cable several large trees and remove and grind the stump of one. From our initial contact through the end of the project Michael Roche and his entire crew have exemplified a level of professionalism rarely encountered. Responsive, punctual, thorough and superbly knowledgeable folks whose work ethic is remarkable makes this an exceptional company. I offer my highest recommendation! "

~Michael L. from Waterbury Center

"If you have fallen trees on your property or ones that have broken limbs after a storm, I recommend contacting Vermont Arborists on Rt. 100. The owner, Michael Roche, will walk your property and give you a realistic estimate for the work. He is reliable, honest and does the job with the time frame set. His team is excellent and will work with you if you have changes once they've started work.

If you have ash trees, Michael will arrange to have them inoculated to protect them against the emerald ash borer, which is spreading throughout Vermont. We chose three for the treatment. The cost is based on the diameter of the trunk, and is not inexpensive. We felt it was worth the investment."

~Sherry M. from Waterbury Center

" Vermont Arborists in Waterbury Center will cut, trim and remove large trees as well as identity ash trees susceptible to infestation by the emerald ash borer. Ash trees can be treated by inoculation, price determined by size. Treatment is good for two years. They have heavy equipment that can chip very large trunk and branches. They are very professional."

~Bob M. from Waterbury Center

"Your team did great work under very  difficult circumstances!! Wind and occasional sideways rain!! Yikes! Thanks for all your good work."

~Jim D. from Eden Mills

"BTW, thanks for expediting my tree work. And Aaron was great. Good communicator, professional, excellent work. Looking forward to seeing that last tree down (apple by pond)."

-M. Snyder from Waterbury

"I just wanted to say that [we] were so happy with your and your crew’s work, professionalism, thoughtfulness and amazing skills.  We had a lot of worry about the trees that were leaning too much toward our home.

During the 3 days that the guys were here, [we] didn’t get much work done because we were so fascinated by watching the amazing skill and precision that the crew exhibited; all day, we kept running to the windows . . . . .

The level of care that each of the guys took both for our property, and more importantly for our safety and their mutual safety, allowed us to feel that we had placed a lot of trust in the right people.

I told you on the last day that it was like watching a combination of art and surgery.  I meant it, and I would add strength.  What you folks do is not easy work, and we really felt that not only do you and your team work really well in concert with each other, but also that you love your work.

It’s been a pleasure."

Theresa G. from Stowe

"I highly recommend Vermont Arborists on Rt. 100 between Stowe and Waterbury. They are professional, dependable, reasonable and return phone calls, too! We have used Vermont Arborists for over 20 years to cut trees, prune, fertilize and just last week I had them burn an enormous brush pile on the property. Was a little concerned as I was going out of town the following day for a week, but it was done in a day and no worries!"

~ Ann F. from Stowe

"After a portion of our very old maple tree fell onto our house and then landed onto our porch, splitting the porch in half, we called various tree services to remove our tree. We selected VT Arborists because Michael Roche took the time to discuss what needed to be done and assured us that there would be no damage to our property. We just knew we were dealing with someone honest.

The crew came with a bucket, a big truck for the portions we didn't want, and a machine to chip the branches.. They worked a good part of the day to remove that huge, old maple tree, first safely removing branches with a man in the bucket, and ropes taking those limbs to the ground. There is a video on my Facebook page, showing the last upper portion being removed. Then they used a chainsaw to take down the very large tree itself. They were very professional, reliable, and reasonable. We couldn't be happier with the job and would recommend them all day long. Thanks, Michael Roche, and hats off to your crew."

~ Susan C. from Cambridge
